Mark 16 Mission

Get to know more about what makes us, us.

The following are core beliefs of Mark 16 Mission from the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and directly flows out of the Bible.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Mark 16:15-20
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers....

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2:37-42, 45,46

Core Beliefs

The Bible is Perfect Truth
  • All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16, 17
  • In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

The Eternal God
  • Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Deuteronomy 6:4
  • His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Jesus is God
  • And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
  • For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Col. 2:9,10

We Must Repent
  • And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Acts 17:30
  • Jesus said, “...except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

Faith in the Finished Work of Jesus
  • Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1,2

Faith is Accompanied by Evidence
  • ...faith without works is dead. James 2:20
  • Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. James 2:24

There is a Literal Heaven
  • But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: Matt. 6:20
  • Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matt. 7:21

  • Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:48
We Must Forgive to Be Forgiven

Healing of the Sick and Injured
  • ...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:18

Tithes and Offerings
  • Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house,
